About us
When I was growing up I had a real passion for baking and my grandmother was my inspiration. She provided me with the confidence and the “know how” to want to start my Teecups Bakery.
My grandmother encouraged me to bake so she could teach me, and we had a lot of fun spending time together. We were so proud when my cakes turned out nicely, the way grandmom thought they should be.
When I went off to college and eventually moved away, grandmom and I didn’t get to bake as much anymore. I would look forward to Thanksgiving Holiday’s when I would do all of the baking with my grandmother “still" guiding me along the way. She was getting older and more fragile now, but she always seemed delighted to keep our tradition going. In December 2020, my loving grandmother passed away. She was ninety-nine years old.
Teecups represents the love my grandmother and I shared for baking, as well as the love we shared for each other. I cherish her sweet memory with every single slice.
